Pawjii Privacy Policy
How the Pawjii app and website handle information.

Scope
This policy covers the Pawjii iPhone and iPad app and the Pawjii pages on Kurt’s personal website. The website and app have different data handling, described below.
Overview
Pawjii does not require an account. The app keeps pet profiles and care records on your device. The developer does not operate an analytics or advertising service in the app and does not sell care data.
Care data and local backups
Pet profiles, caregiver labels, care records, plans, notes, photos, and saved walk routes are stored on your device. The app keeps a local recovery backup of care data; it may temporarily contain an older record after you edit or delete it.
Location and maps
Pawjii requests When In Use location access when you open the Walk feature. Route recording begins only when you start a walk, and an active walk can continue receiving location updates in the background. Apple Core Location, geocoding, and MapKit may process location and network requests under Apple’s policies.
Photos
Pawjii uses Apple’s system Photos picker. The app can read only the photo you choose for a pet portrait, processes it on the device, and stores the resulting portrait locally.
Care reminders
Care-plan reminders are local notifications scheduled only for plans for which you enable reminders and only when system notification permission allows them. You can change notification permission in system Settings.
Purchases
Pawjii Plus products, payment, subscription status, and restore operations use Apple StoreKit and the App Store. The app processes StoreKit product, transaction, and entitlement status on your device to provide Plus. The current app implementation does not transmit that StoreKit status to Kurt, and Kurt does not receive your payment-card details.
Optional Plus reminders
Messages about Plus features or membership offers are scheduled only after you expressly opt in and system notifications are allowed. Installation timing, Plus-page visits, reminder stages, and consent are stored locally to control frequency, are not used for developer analytics or advertising, and can be stopped in Settings. The campaign stops after purchase and pauses while a purchase is pending.
Support email
If you email 931625530@qq.com, your email service and the receiving email provider process the address and message you send. Kurt uses that information to answer your request and does not place it in Pawjii’s on-device records.
Website
The Pawjii website does not require registration, accept payments, or collect pet profiles. The selected language is stored in your browser. GitHub Pages, the hosting provider, may process network information and access logs needed to deliver the pages.
Retention and deletion
You can delete care records in the app. Removing the app removes its local storage and in-app recovery backup. Device backups and files you exported remain wherever you or the operating system stored them and must be managed there.
Your choices
You control the records you enter, optional photo selection, whether a walk is started, reminder settings, Plus-message consent, exports, and deletion. You may contact Kurt to ask about support correspondence; on-device app data is not available to the developer.
Children and family use
Pawjii is a general pet-care record tool and is not designed to create accounts or collect children’s information. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use, purchases, location recording, sharing, and care decisions.
Policy updates
This policy may change when Pawjii’s features or providers change. The page shows its latest updated date. Material changes will be reflected before the affected feature is represented as available.
